·        Legal Officer, Office of the Legal Affairs from 2000-2003.

·        Head, Drafting and Review Division, Office of Legal Affairs, from 2003-2005.

·        Legal Officer, Law & Order Division, Ministry of Home Affairs, Thimphu, Bhutan, 1996-2000.

 

Additional Experience:

·        Member of the National Judicial Commission (2008-2013).

·        Member of the WTO Accession Negotiation Team of the Royal Government of Bhutan from 2004-2006 and participated in the 2nd Working Party Meeting at the WTO Secretariat, Geneva in 2005.

·        Member of the National Commission for Women and Children from 2004-2006.

·        Member of the Bhutanese delegation in presenting Bhutan’s report on Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) to the 30th Session of the Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women from 12th – 30th January 2004 at the United Nations, New York.
